Raster Images:
Raster graphic images are images made up of pixels, they also use less memory to save, as the pixels are very basic. If you zoom in on a raster graphic image or enlarge the image, it becomes pixelated and blurred making the image hard to see, but from far away, the image looks quite detailed, as seen bellow.
Raster graphic images are used in programmes like: "GIMP" or "Photoshop". The file formats for these types of images are: bmp, gif, tiff, jpg, psd.
